Building on Gran Canaria 2026 — a global platform for islands.
The Global Sustainable Islands Summit (GSIS) will return in 2027, bringing together island leaders, policymakers, investors, researchers, and innovators working to advance sustainable development across island territories.
Following the 2026 edition in Gran Canaria, which convened high-level government representatives, international institutions, and organisations from across Europe, the Caribbean, the Pacific, and the Indian Ocean, GSIS 2027 will continue to build on this global exchange.
